What is this?
This is a place for me to put my writing in the hopes that creating direction and stakes will make me write more and maybe eventually make me write better.
Why am I doing this?
I like being happy and dislike being unhappy. Writing is my purpose, my joy, a basic need, and the love of my life.
What is my goal?
Right now, I'm focused on learning and building a creative practice. I'd also like to challenge my instinct to hide this real and important side of myself from the world.
Who am I?
I do a job, live a messy life, and owe everything to the people who love me. I love puzzles, the mountains, my dog, bold patterns, wearing silver, driving far, and when it's someone else's idea to get ice cream. Consensus says my cooking is "a little salty" and my eye contact "can be intense."
